Scoping is a paid engagement that stands on its own. If you take the output elsewhere, that is a fine outcome.

Scope
A short paid engagement where we work out what the thing needs to do, what it can leave out, and roughly what it costs. You keep the output whether or not you continue with us.

Shape
Flows, screens and the data model, reviewed together before anyone opens an editor. This is the cheapest point at which to change your mind.

Build
Two-week cycles, each ending with something you can open and use. No status decks — the deployed version is the status.

Ship
Launch, store submission where it applies, and the monitoring you need to find out about problems before your users report them.

Operate
Fixes, iteration and support after launch. Or a clean handover with documentation, if you would rather take it in house.
Do you work with people who have no technical team?
Often. Individuals and founders are a large part of our work, and it usually means we do the shaping as well as the building. If you do have a technical team, we work alongside them instead.
Can you take over something someone else built?
Yes. We start by reading the codebase and telling you honestly what state it is in, including if the answer is that rewriting will cost less than repairing.
Can we hire you for advice without a build?
Yes. Consulting is a service on its own: architecture and code reviews, technical due diligence, build-versus-buy decisions, and fractional technical leadership. You get a written opinion with the reasoning in it, and no obligation to have us build anything.
How do engagements usually start?
With a short paid scoping engagement. It produces a brief, a plan and a cost, and it belongs to you regardless of whether we build the thing.
Do you take on government work?
Yes. That work has different requirements around procurement, documentation and record-keeping, and we plan for those from the start, because retrofitting them costs far more.
Where are you based?
Our offices are in the United Kingdom and Nigeria, and we work with clients worldwide. Core hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM GMT/WAT, Monday to Friday, and we overlap with other time zones by arrangement.
